SAFARICOM REPORTS A 14.1% GROWTH IN PROFIT AFTER TAX


Safaricom reports a 14.1% growth in profit after tax to KShs 55.29 Billion for the year ended 31st March 2018. Total revenue for the period came in at KShs 233.72 Billion up 9.8% from the KShs 212.89 Billion in 2017. Proposed dividend payout of KShs 44.07bn (KShs1.1 per share), an increase of 13.4% from KShs 38.86bn (KShs0.97 per share) for the year ended 31 March 2018- Company Filings
